my first post:)

Hi everyone,

Recently, I've been researching and looking into several different things including about stuff that is going on in the world now, whilst at the same time finding a way I can use my interests into doing something more and so I though why not start a blog.

I've been wanting to do something like this for a while and as we approach week 12 of the UK lock-down as well as being three weeks away from 9 weeks summer holiday , it just seemed like a great time to do something a bit out of my comfort zone and start something new. 

At the minute, I will probably just write articles about stuff that's happening but who knows where this will go. I'm very much looking forward to the experience this will give me.

May 2023. For some, a joyous month. Three bank holiday weekends, the beginning of warmer weather and the start of summery activities. With tens of thousands of people travelling into London for the coronation of the new monarch and other related events, the weekend saw our much beloved capital city step into the international spotlight once again. Cancel Culture: Where do we draw the line?

Like a lot of you reading this, I spend most of my time split between school, homework, spending time with friends or family, and scrolling through social media for what seems like endless hours on end. Whether it be Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok, Snapchat, or Facebook, social media is constantly evolving and seems to have a new purpose every day. Originally, social media appeared to be a place to communicate with your loved ones with easier access. As well as this, it was a great place to be creative and to be bold.
